Product Description

by Eden Amareah (Author)

This fictional work, The Book of Rain, is the first book in the Afro-futuristic crossover series about Izzi, the child of two people who unsuccessfully fought to re-establish the forgotten religions. After Izzi is forced to flee from his parents and home, he's exposed to a new and crazy world where traditional religions have fallen and new beliefs are formed in their place. Along the way, Izzi finds friends who agree to hide him and help him find his parents.

With only a few items to his name, Izzi tries to figure out why he was guided to a village, so he won't suffer the same fate as his parents. He learns to adapt to the simple but foreign and very demanding customs of the village, where children are trained early to become warriors. When Izzi finds the last piece to his puzzled reality, he realizes that not only did he not know who his parents really were, but he didn't even know who he really was.
