Harold Halpert is the pastor of Hope Christian Fellowship, a church and school that he helped build from the ground up. He is also a strong opponent of gay rights.Drake Halpert is a teenager who feels trapped in this community of people blindly following his father. He is also gay and deeply hurt by his father's outspoken beliefs. But Pastor Halpert isn't aware of his son's sexuality, and Drake has no idea that his father's ideas aren't shared by everyone. How can these two know so little about each other? And what would happen if father and son were to change places - literally?

Author Biography

Peter Wright is a school bus driver in the Seattle area. He has been writing for as long as he can remember and driving a school bus for almost eleven years. He grew up in Hawthorne, California, home of the Beach Boys, where he attended Hawthorne High School. Go Cougars! After an uninspiring year of community college, Peter moved to the Seattle area where he attended Lutheran Bible Institute, which inspired the close community of Hope Christian Fellowship in this book. Peter quickly fell in love with the Northwest and has no plans to ever move away, though he often makes the trip back to Southern California to visit his family and, of course, Disneyland! Peter now calls the Northwest his home and used the suburb of Seattle where he lives as inspiration for the fictional town of Midlakes, Washington.
