Product Description

by W. F. Bill Wellman (Author)

"It's Made to Sell-Not to Drink " is the almost too good to be true tale of Bill Wellman's life. From opening pages, the stories of mischief, adventure and fortune spill forth. There is young Wellman helping run a betting parlor in his parent's bedroom, or winning a stereo for escorting an elephant to an appliance store. Other stories tell about the leaky "In-Tents" Theater, the Indian medicine man and his father riding a horse through the bar. Wellman has done it all. He worked with famous - Bob Hope, "Goober", Kenny Rogers, and Liberace and helped introduce Orville's popcorn to the world. He helped develop theaters, restaurants and hotels. It's a tale telling page turner that will leave you laughing, crying and thoroughly entertained.
