Product Description

by Stephen Fitzmaurice (Author), Deborah Cates (Author)

This textbook offers a clear and accessible introduction to educational interpreting, focusing on the unique demands of working with deaf students in public school settings. Most interpreters begin their careers in these environments, often without specific preparation for the developmental and educational needs of deaf children.

Author Biography

Dr. Deborah Cates is the Language Resources Coordinator at the Iowa School for the Deaf in the Outreach department.
