Author Biography

Dr. Adhiguna Mahendra currently serves as Director of AI and Data at Nusantara Capital City Authority, spearheading the development of AI and Smart Systems for the capital city. Previously, he was with Nodeflux as Chief of AI, developing a complex Video Analytics deep learning platform and its operationalization (MLOps). He obtained his M.S. degree in Computer Vision and Robotics from the University of Heriot-Watt, U.K. 2008 and his Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from the Universite de Dijon, France, in 2012. He serves as a lecturer at Swiss German University and Central Queensland University. Adhiguna is also the founder of SmartX Academy, a leading Smart Systems school in Indonesia teaching IoT and Video Analytics as well as the founder of the AI Business Institute, an online platform offering courses in Deep Learning and AI Product Management. He is the author of many journal articles with publications with publications in platforms such as AVSS, SPIE, ICME, ICODSE, and IEEE.


Dr. Sisdarmanto Adinandra is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Universitas Islam, Indonesia where he does research in the areas of control systems and robotics, and signal processing and instrumentation. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Eindhoven. Given his years of experience in the area of video analytics and systems, he is uniquely qualified as a co-author for the proposed book.

Dr. Hasbi Nur Prasetyo Wisudawan, is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Indonesian Islamic University. His research interests focus on applying plies his knowledge of signal processing and control systems to solve real-world problems. His work includes flood warning systems based on IoT technologies, voice recognition, and automatic handwashing stations, all designed to improve public safety and health. He also uses online project-based learning to teach disaster mitigation technology.
