"Only I am brave enough to hear the 'Lady'" The events were witnessed by crowds. All anyone saw was a little girl talking to the air. After each vision, Lucia would relate the 'Lady's' message to reporters. F tima faded into obscurity until a pope was searching for a supernatural event to authenticate a political goal. In 1941, Pius XII instructed Lucia to put into writing the dialogue she had with the Lady in 1917.
