Product Description

by Mike Due (Author)

What if there was a means by which anyone could experience an out-of-body experience, first-hand, any time they wanted? Would this be proof of the supernatural? Or would it reveal another layer of the natural world? How would the scientific community react? How would the clergy react? How would the world react if faith was replaced by knowledge? Immaterial takes you through a thought provoking analysis of faith and science. Discovery is the first book in the Immaterial series. With a backdrop of international intrigue, drama and suspense, this first installment follows three college students as they embark on a journey to tell the world about a small blue pill that could change everything. Author Mike Due cues up a number of theological and scientific issues and presents them from the perspective of believers and disbelievers alike.

Author Biography

I am a self-published author, living the American dream; writing novels that I believe others will enjoy. I live with my family in a suburb of Cincinnati, OH. Born and raised in Erlanger, KY, I attended St. Henry High School where I first entertained the idea of being a writer. Later I attended Northern Kentucky University, the setting for a portion of my book "Immaterial." Currently I'm a Project Manager working for a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company in Cincinnati, OH. I'm also an adjunct instructor teaching computer classes at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College as well as the College of Mount St. Joseph.
