Author Biography

Cameron R. Monti is a Partner at the full-service Illinois law firm, Lavelle Law, Ltd. Cameron's law practice primarily focuses on the areas of corporate law, tax law, transactional law, and employment law matters. Cameron serves as an adjunct professor of law at John Marshall Law School (Chicago) teaching classes in the area of federal tax practice and procedure. In 2001, Cameron earned his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law, and in 2002, Cameron earned his LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation Law from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, WA. Cameron authored his first book in 2013 entitled Illinois Medical Marijuana Law FAQ Handbook as part of his eBook Esquire Series of legal FAQ handbooks and has made several live television appearances on WGN-TV9 News to discuss and explain new developments in Illinois law.
