From the AuthorWhen my children were younger, no matter how many times I would say I forgave them after they slipped up, they would both repeatedly ask the same question, "Do you still love me?" And even though my answer was always a sincere, "Yes! Of course! I will always love you and I will always forgive you," they still needed to be reassured to cure their guilt and insecurity. In fact, it happened so often that I painted a wooden sign that hangs above our fireplace as a visual reminder that reads:
I Will Always Love You ♥ I Will Always Forgive You
Their precious childhood question and our repeated parental assurance is the inspiration for this book.
