Product Description

by Kerry G. Hill (Photographer), James Sauer (Author)

In "I Walk the Circle (Book I)," author James Sauer talks about the roots and lineage of his practice of Baguazhang (BaGua), along with activities related to internal and external strengthening. He pays much attention to use of the Horse Stance, both in stillness and movement, and from this, the Baguazhang Linking Warm-up Set. Please note that this is not an instruction book, but, in part, is a Baguazhang art book, with photos by Kerry G. Hill. It also aims to assist others in making connections within themselves, whatever that might mean.

Author Biography

James Sauer is both a student and coach with Madison Daoguan. His training in the Yangjia Michuan Taijiquan lineage has primarily occurred in Madison and Taiwan. He is currently a student in Kun Lun & Wu Dang Sword. He teaches Taiji Pole, Beginning Applications and is a regular participant in Intermed/Advanced Tuishou. James also offers Baguazhang in the Daoguan's curriculum.
