Product Description

by Heather Golan (Illustrator), Angie Kopshy (Author)

I Like Balloons is part of series of books written specifically for children on the autism spectrum. Angie Kopshy, a board-certified music therapist and director of Music Therapy Services of Portland. This clinic specializes in using music with children on the autism spectrum to enhance neural connectivity. At Music Therapy Services of Portland, one of our most important goals is to foster more music within the lives of our families. One of our favorite things to say is, "Make your life a musical " Singing this book will activate more of the brain than just reading the words. Encourage your child to follow along with his or her finger. If you are using the interactive digital version, take the time to engage with all the elements incorporated into each page. There are physical and digital versions of this book along with an mp3 and a video. Please visit our website for more information and contact us with any questions.
