Author Biography

Frankie Feather hails from Bradford in Yorkshire, England. He loves to go for long walks and test story ideas on his dog, King Toadfish. When not writing, Frankie can be found playing the drums.

Cathy Hughes has worked on everything from picture books to finger puppet books, as well as many coloring and activity books for very young children. Her favorite things to draw are princesses, fairies, knights, pirates, and mermaids. Cathy can usually be found reading mythical tales from long ago! She loves working from home in the beautiful English Cotswolds, which is overflowing with art materials and books, as well as boxes of Japanese furoshiki. She fell in love with the color and design of Japanese textiles when she visited Kyoto and is now learning Japanese!
