About the Author: Dr. Ruchi Prasad has obtained First class career right from Graduation, Post Graduation up to Ph.D. She has received scholarships for the academic excellence as topper in the stream B. Sc (Home Science), MSc Home Science (Food and Nutrition) of the Rajendra Agricultural University, Bihar. She had also qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), Bihar Eligibility Test (BET) for Lectureship conducted by UGC, New Delhi and Bihar State Service Commission accredited by UGC respectively. In addition, she has obtained One Year Diploma in Computers in Office Management (DCO) from IGNOU, New Delhi. She has more than 7 years of working experience in different capacities in reputed Institutions like Degree, Post Graduate Colleges, Public School and Unicef Project. Her Ph.D. thesis is on "ECONOMICS OF NUTRITION MANAGEMENT IN CONSUMPTION-PATTERN OF HOUSEHOLDS UNDER DIFFERENT FARMING SITUATIONS IN AND AROUND PATNA". A number of papers have also been published in the National Journals like "Agricultural Economics Research Review" and "Indian Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics". At present, she is working as practising Nutritionist and doing Consultancy and rendering voluntarily services to needy poor women as well as children under malnutrition.Besides, all these, she has passion of writing poems, stories in Hindi and English.
