Product Description

by Adrian J. Botham (Author)

So you want to become a share investor but you're not sure where to start? Well, you are not alone! Many people would love to invest in shares as a way of boosting their retirement income; saving for a future dream project; creating a passive second income; retiring early from the rat-race or just making better use of their spare cash. But learning to invest in shares can feel like a daunting task and beginners are put off from doing so by all the financial jargon and complexity of the financial world. What they need most is a simple step-by-step guide, written in every day language, which concentrates on what they need to know at each stage and cuts through all that unnecessary noise. This book has been put together by Adrian Botham, a private investor with more than 27 years of experience investing in shares - someone who started with no knowledge in the subject whatsoever. Someone just like you maybe?Intended as an introduction to investing in shares, the book covers all the things you need to consider up front before investing any of your hard-earned cash in shares. It provides you with practical guidance to help you make some key decisions and start out safely on your own journey to becoming a successful share investor ensuring that, when you do buy your first shares, you get to keep more of the profits for yourself.

Author Biography

Adrian Botham is a self-taught private investor with more than 27 years of experience in managing his own share portfolio. While a student at Warwick University, studying Pure Mathematics, he realised one of his ambitions - to become a share investor - buying his first shares in 1985 with 」100 left over from his first year student grant. Since then, Adrian's share portfolio has grown dramatically, along with his knowledge of share investing, business, economics and finance. Adrian believes in adopting a holistic approach to investing - applying mathematics, graphical chart analysis, economics, business knowledge, human behavioural psychology and common sense to his investment methods and decisions. He also believes that more people would invest in shares if only they understood more about them, how to analyze and buy them and how to manage the risks involved. This is the driving force behind his first book "How To Invest In Shares" and is the reason he started his business of the same name. More information about Adrian, his products and services and free resources for beginners to investing in stocks and shares can be obtained at his websites www.HowToInvestInShares.co.uk and www.SharesCoach.com.
