J R Valdes served 12 years with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as an Industry Operations Investigator (IOI). After retiring from ATF in 2013, J R founded Firearms Licensing And Consulting Group, LLC. (FLCG); providing licensing and compliance consulting services to the firearms industry. Other than his current publication "How To Get a Federal Firearms License", he has authored several articles related to firearms licensing and compliance with U.S. Federal firearms regulations.
