Author Biography

To all my friends who are interested in my life story, where do I start?! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in the 1950's Right now I am living the clean life in Connecticut with my family. My love for comics came at an early age, I think I was around 10 years old when I first picked up a comic book. I always loved reading comic books and especially loved the books on art and illustrations. In the 1980's I moved to Manhattan, NY, I published many books on the art of drawing, I published many paperback and hardcover books, I started a humor magazine, It kept me busy for a while. For some reason I lost interest in the publishing business after 9/11 and started slowing down. I completely went in another direction and started investing and renovating homes in Connecticut with my wife. One night my children were drawing comics on a piece of paper, and I suddenly missed working on the art books and being in the comic world. So here I am again publishing my lovely books, my passion that I missed so dearly. I hope that I get you guys attention, again, because I intend to make my books better then I've ever done before! I have a lot of bottled up creations and good intentions inside of me to make my books better then ever! Al Occhino
