Product Description

by Karen Field Bolek (Author)

Premised on translating leadership best practices into the close personal realm, this book presents men with a step-by-step method for setting up an apology and specific techniques for delivering it to a woman to gain closure. Main content is supported by original research conducted by the author and illustrated via an original communication skills model.

Author Biography

Karen Field Bolek is a freelance editor, a liberal arts enthusiast, and a creative thinker. In 2006-07 she created and co-developed a communication skills model called the Focus Triangle. Throughout this book the Focus Triangle is used to illustrate often-overlooked details of the apology process. While writing the book, she also designed and conducted an online Men's Apology Survey, which supports the main content of her book and provides specific information on what women want when receiving apologies from men.
