Alina Niemi is an author, illustrator, and artist. When she is not developing new recipes, reading, or working in the garden, she is trying to learn new dances and find more time. So far, she hasn't found any...although she has found that young trees will die if you do not water them. Weeds, however, will not. As a young girl, she spent all her allowance on books. She no longer gets an allowance, but she still spends a lot of her money on books. And in addition to reading them, now she gets to write, illustrate, and publish them!
