Then, as all of the animals are arguing and proclaiming their own greatness, something magical happens that changes the fish forever and teaches their jungle friends a lesson in kindness and humility.

Elena Schietinger is the author of numerous children's books, including There's a Spider in My Closet and I Know You Can Do It, You Know You Can, Too! Her stories seek to both entertain her young audiences and help her readers grow. She is the mother of three sons, who inspired her writing as they were growing up. A lifelong storyteller, she has a background in journalism and extensive experience as a writer of fiction and nonfiction.
