Claypoole Sr. Memorial Award in 2002, a highly distinguished honor from the American College of Physicians for devoting a career in Internal Medicine to the care of patients. This book will explain illnesses, how they come about, and how to treat them. It is an easy guide to prevent conditions such as strokes, heart attacks, lung disease, and kidney disease as well as controlling abdominal ailments, premature kidney failure, and diabetes mellitus.
