Product Description

by Randall Sorensen Cpa (Author)

He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1979 and passed the Certified Public Accountant exam at age 22. He cut his teeth working for Fortune 500 companies and founded his own CPA practice in 1986. In 1995, he started the software company EZ DOC Corporation that develops intellectual software for insurance companies and law firms. The forensic experience he gained at Coopers & Lybrand, CPA's attracted the attention of Attorney Paul Eckstein that led to his hiring as the key financial expert in the Impeachment Trial of Governor Evan Mecham. By dissecting the governor's Pontiac dealership, Mr. Sorensen was able to justify the governor's removal from office in 4 hours. He received a Commendation from the Arizona House of Representatives. To date Mr. Sorensen has performed over 2,000 forensic evaluations and testified on 85 occasions.

In addition, to his accounting expertise, he has been licensed in Insurance, Real Estate and Securities. He served as the President of the Arizona Chapter of Forensic Expert Witness Association and ASCPA Forensic Litigation Committee.

He represented himself pro se in U.S. Tax Court against the IRS for allowing a national tax franchise to defraud the U.S. Treasury of $1.5 billion. The judge stated that it's not his job to police the IRS. The lack of transparency and blatant lawlessness by the IRS made the case unwinnable but does provide fuel for abolishing the IRS.
