Author Biography
Maureen Tierney is a natural barefoot trimmer and lifelong horsewoman. She runs For The Horse Equine Rescue at her farm in Kentucky. She is a proponent of giving horses as natural a lifestyle as possible, of bitless riding, and of treating horses as sentient, intelligent beings. She is currently training several racehorses to compete barefoot - no shoes, no stalls, no tongue ties, no blinkers, and no drugs. Her goal is to make the world a better place for horses. Ms. Tierney is also the author of Natural Barefoot Trimming: The Hoof Guided Method.
