This is a guide for the minor clergy and altar boys serving the sacred ceremonies of Holy Week, according to the reforms of Pope Pius XII of 1955. This contains detailed instructions for Solemn ceremonies with Deacon and Subdeacon and for the simpler, when there is only one priest assisting. The 1962 Missale Romanum uses these ceremonies, and this book is excellent for use with this Missal for Holy Week. Not only is the office of each servant described, Master of Ceremonies, Thurifer, Acolytes and other assistants, but there are diagrams of the appropriate positions for the various ceremonies to aid in the proper celebration of these holy Rites. This is a must have for any church, which wishes to preserve the Tridentine Mass and Missale Romanum.
