by Alan Twigg (Author)

Author Biography

Alan Twigg is a veteran journalist and author of 20 previous books. He also has his country's highest civilian honor, the Order of Canada, and recently received an honorary doctorate from Simon Fraser University. He became the first writer to gain the trust of Robin Vrba (Vrba's wife) after building a website about Rudolf Vrba (rudolfvrba.com). A previous biography he wrote, Moon Madness, profiles a courageous Norweigian-born physician, Louise Jilek-Aall, an epilepsy researcher who was the last living doctor to have worked alongside Albert Schweitzer.
