Product Description

by Robert F. Carlton (Author)

This is the history of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Eagle Harbor, Michigan. It was prepared for the 150th anniversary in 2004 and has been updated into 2023. Holy Redeemer Church began by Bishop Frederic Baraga in 1854. Bishop Baraga's original pulpit and altar are preserved here. The interior features include the altar with an antique chandelier. Bishop Baraga's vestments, chalice, and missal are on display at the rear of the Church. The list of priests assigned to the parish is found in this book. The Church is used for summer service with Mass on Sundays at 9:00 am.
