These books tell the history of a large part of the surnames of families that established
themselves in Cuba from its discovery in 1492 on. For each family the author develops, as far as
possible, a genealogical tree until the end of the 20th century. Volume IX contains an
alphabetical index of the families depicted in volumes I through VIII as well as an index for
volume IX.
