Product Description

by Brianna R. Walker (Author)

A humorous, real-life glimpse into life on a farm from a woman's shoes. A collection of short stories that highlight the love, blood, commitment and of course the high heels needed to survive this life we call farming. From Shopping to Family, Breakdowns to Weather, Animals to Travel, Marriage to Kids...and everything in between. "We interrupt this marriage to bring you...farming season." "I am afraid that when I die, my wife will sell my farm machinery for what I told her I paid for it."

Author Biography

Growing up on a watermelon farm in Eastern Oregon, Brianna Walker is no stranger to agriculture. 4th generation melon grower, she learned to drive fork-lift and melon trucks in the field before she could see completely over the windshield. It seemed only natural then, to get a college degree in agriculture. That was where she met her future farmer who she now calls husband. She makes her home in Eastern Oregon where her and her husband raise forage crops, 2 boys, a menagerie of pets and a whole lot of crazy farm stories--that she just calls memories.
