Product Description

by Matthias Leue (Author), Patrick Leue (Illustrator)

Hey, Roberto Hu is a collection of descriptive, amusing, and exiting travel stories. It is the third book by the author. The primary story takes place in South America in Venezuela during the time when Hugo Chavez was still ruling the country. A writer with a photographer's eye looking at a fascinating, colorful, often dangerous, amazingly diverse, and unforgettable country with exploration of Caracas, Merida, The Andes, and Los Roques.

The other travel stories in the book take place in California, with trips to Santa Cruz and Redding, and several journeys in the Great Pacific Northwest: along the Oregon Coast, in and around Portland, and parts of Washington State.

Since the author loves to cook and eat, all the stories contain culinary tidbits.

The introduction features a commentary by the author's cat, who is of course mentioned briefly in several stories and who hopes to have more representation in future books.

27 watercolors enhance the stories in the book.
