Product Description

by Deborah A. Lennon (Illustrator), Americo W. Petrocelli (Author)

A little caterpillar asks a beautiful butterfly what it is like to be a butterfly. When the butterfly responds with a "better than you" attitude the wise little caterpillar teaches the butterfly an important lesson.

Author Biography

Dr. Americo W. Petrocelli and Deborah A. Lennon have collaborated to bring to the world of children's books an adaptation of the poem, "Hello, Said The Caterpillar To The Butterfly." The poem, written by Dr. Americo W. Petrocelli and included in his book "The Magic Table: Prose & Poetry Inspired By The Over-Eighty Crowd" was intended as a metaphor for adult behavior, but many of its readers recommended it be adapted as a children's book. Sort of a grandparent recommendation. Deborah A. Lennon, through her illustrations, brings the poem and its message alive for the stimulation of the glorious imagination of the child.
