Author Biography
I have worked as a writer and advocate in the field of childhood sexual abuse for the past 23 years, focusing on research and writing in the areas of healing from trauma, spiritual growth, and personal empowerment. My advocacy work on behalf of survivors of abuse led to my development of public information events, presentations, and workshops to educate and empower survivors and professionals alike. I have authored three books for survivors, and my semi-autobiographical novel, Spirit Unbroken: Abby's Story, was a Finalist in the READERS FAVORITE AWARDS 2012 - WOMEN'S FICTION. Jeanne McElvaney
