Author Biography

Janette Grant is the author of the children's books, Sameerah's Hijab and the First Day of School, Hannah Habibi Learns About Modesty, and Let's Learn Our Religion Islamic Study Workbook. Ms. Grant is a founding member of the Muslimah Writers Alliance (MWA), an internationally based collaboration of Muslim women writers and advocates working to counter negative and inaccurate perceptions of members of the Muslim community and she currently owns and runs Mindworks Publishing Inc., a community based desktop publishing business.
