Product Description

by Keabetswe Mmasesedi Motsamai Her (Author)

Her Emotions Revealed by HER's brief introduction. She is a writer who pens poetry. The margins encasing who she is remain unclear. The only explicit fact about HER is the five themes that reveal a few snippets of her thoughts. The first theme is Doubted Certainty. It consists of six poems. It describes an observation of humanity's worth from an object's perspective to that of a human being. The second theme flows into its title: Fatal Acceptance. It revolves around growth and accepting one's fate. Whether this means acknowledging the creativity lost; the tears shed; seeking help; being ignored; being too loyal; wishing for a better future or being inadequate. The third set of poems is titled Pain's Pock. It reveals inadequacy in its purest form: the wish to keep our loved ones alive, as if we could make them immortal or contribute to lengthening their lifetimes. At the end of the day we settle for the longing that floods us with the treasured memories. Naturalistic Bloom is the fourth theme that sparks a little bit of incomplete hope set in nature's calm atmosphere. The first poem classified below this theme seems a bit dull. The theme of faith evolves to that of one day living in a peaceful world. The last theme deserves its title: Concluded Contrast. It clearly highlights the irony of how HER is able to reveal observations and deliver them with so much moroseness to emphasise the seriousness of each matter. We expect a bit of self-love, but instead we are left wondering if her emotions were revolving around humility or inadequacy....
