Author Biography

Rebecca Cagle has been coaching and counseling people since 1989. She owned her first horse business from 1983 to 1994. She started her first job with horses at the age of thirteen. After buying her first horse at age fourteen and participating in both 4-H Horse Projects and FFA Horse Judging Team Competitions, Rebecca went on to graduate with honors in Equine Science and Management from Diamond Oaks in Cincinnati, Ohio. Then she attended the Horse Production and Management Program at The Ohio State University and attended Wilmington College in Cincinnati, majoring in Business and Marketing. Rebecca graduated Summa Cum Laude in Psychology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Rebecca is a member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society for Psychology. Rebecca's other education includes Riding Instructor Training through Camp Horsemanship Association and Budget Counselor Training as well as Business By The Book Training through Crown Financial Ministries. Rebecca is a graduate of Professional Life Coaching, Caring for People God's Way, Caring for Teens God's Way, Health and Wellness Coaching, and Hope Coaching (for those going through the journey of cancer) through the American Association of Christian Counselors. She is a member of the Women's Horse Industry Network, the Smoky Mountain Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, Knoxville Entrepreneurial Women, the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Christian Coaching Association and serves on the President's Advisory Council for Tusculum College. Rebecca has experience cross-culturally coaching people from other countries, including France, Germany, Philippines, former Soviet and Latin American countries. Rebecca lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her two dogs Abby and Jonah.
