Author Biography
Cecilia M. Fernandez is an award-winning journalist who teaches composition and literature at Broward College and Nova University. She is the author of Leaving Little Havana: A Memoir of Miami's Cuban Ghetto, which won first place in the 2015 International Latino Book Awards and was chosen by TheLatinoAuthor.com as one of the top ten nonfiction books of 2015.
