This project is aiming to examine the effect of Greek nationalism on relations between Greece and Albania. In order to go further, it is necessary to be focussed first on the theory of nationalism, (which is a contested issue), and then to employ the most suitable types of nationalism that fit in with this case study. An analysis of Greek nationalism will clarify the events which have occurred between these two countries during different periods and especially during the last nineteen years. The media analysis will both illustrate and clarify the argument.
