Author Biography
Brendon Burns is a professional genealogist living in Arlington, Virginia. He currently works for a lineage society, while having worked in genealogy for nearly two decades. His background is very diverse, but frequently centers on western New York and southwestern Virginia research, the latter being his strongest work. Transcribing and abstracting records occupies some of his time...it is the intention of making genealogical research in a given area easier that keeps Burns working on these books. Burns is a native of Virginia Beach, VA, and graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008 with two B.A.'s in Urban Planning & Studies and in Studio Art. He does art every now and then these days, and is a frequent traveler and hiker when he is not working on the next genealogical research project.
