Product Description

by William N. Gilmore (Author)

In this the second book of the new and exciting detective series, featuring Atlanta Police Detectives Larry Gillam and Sam Lovett, they are trying to find the reasons behind the death of a friend, as well as the sudden deaths of hardened drug users in their own city. However, there are those who don't want them snooping around; including some from within their own department, and a secret black ops unit run by a misdirected general. Things turn upside down and go sideways, as the detectives find there are few to trust while trying to keep a vital witness alive, weed out the corruption, and try to live another day; however, their own lieutenant may have a say in that.

Author Biography

William N. Gilmore served nearly seven years as a U. S. Army Military Policeman. Four of those at Ft. McPherson, Ga. Not long after his honorable discharge, he worked as an assistant security chief at a popular downtown Atlanta shopping and entertainment complex. He joined the Atlanta Police Department with his first assignment as a recruit working at the Missing and Murdered Children's Task Force. With seven years experience on the streets, he was promoted to detective, going straight to the Narcotics Squad serving in that assignment for fifteen years. After nearly twenty-seven years on the department, William retired and began to write for fun. He also enjoys metal detecting and once in a while, a poker tournament. After William began to write in earnest, he joined the Paulding County Writers' Guild and soon published his first book, "Saints, Sinners, Lovers and Others". A book of poems and personal stories. His other works include science fiction, flash fiction, and he is continuing this series while working on a historical-paranormal-detective mystery.
