The three billy goats climbed very high into the trees every night to sleep and to be safe from the big fat alligator who lived in the marshes at the bottom of the trees. They must use their wits to stay out of the mouth of the alligator.

Author Biography
Dr. Janet P. Littlejohn is a retired, national board-certified teacher who loves books, children, and beaches. She taught twenty-eight years in elementary classrooms in the state of Mississippi. She received her master's and undergraduate degrees from Mississippi University for Women and her doctorate from Mississippi State University.
