Product Description

by Janet P. Littlejohn (Author)

On Dauphin Island in the Gulf of Mexico lived three Billy Goats Gruff. There was Great Billy Goat Gruff. There was Big Billy Goat Gruff. And, lastly, there was Little Billy Goat Gruff.

The three billy goats climbed very high into the trees every night to sleep and to be safe from the big fat alligator who lived in the marshes at the bottom of the trees. Full of fear, the goats climbed carefully down from the trees every morning to graze on the green grass and sweet berries in the meadow. They must use their wits to stay out of the mouth of the alligator.

A retelling of a Norwegian fairytale, this picture book for children shares a story of how three heroic goats creatively fool a ravenous alligator and make the island safe.
