He makes the decision to fight his way home and try to regain his life with Beth. But the worst is yet to come as he leaves the streets of old Athens to face the cold waters off the north coast of British Columbia in his quest to put has life back together. Flying from the frozen expanses of the Arctic to the hot sands of Africa and beyond, Captain Terry E. Reece has logged over twenty thousand hours in the cockpits of bush aircraft, Lockheed C-130s and Boeing 737 jets. Terry spent over forty years as a airline captain, chief pilot, check pilot, logger, miner, smokejumper, president of an airline training company, and owner of a floatplane service in Homer, Alaska. Captain Reece and his wife, Nancy, can usually be found at Two Dog Ranch, their home on the Columbia River in the wilds of northeast Washington State.
