Product Description

by Eturuvie Erebor (Author)

Giants give birth only to giants. The child of a giant will never be a dwarf and neither will he need to pray in order to grow tall. His biological association to parents who are extraordinarily tall means that in the process of time, he will be tall. At birth, the baby of an elephant is larger than many animals in their fully developed stage, and this is because of its biological association to parents that are enormous in size. Indeed, everything on the earth reproduces after its kind. Association has the power to make or mar a man. It can make a man great, or it can rob him of greatness. We always end up being like the people we surround ourselves with. Success is not an accidental occurrence. It will not just happen; it must be made to happen through a calculated and strategic operation of the power of association to one's advantage. In this book, Eturuvie Erebor takes a close look at the potential of relationships, especially the relationship between a mentor and mentee and the influence of the same on the life of the mentee. To buttress her point, she highlights several mentor/mentee relationships in the Bible. Undoubtedly, many mentees have been propelled to greatness by their mentors. This book is a must-read for everyone who desires to make a success out of their life.

Author Biography

Eturuvie Erebor (AKA Gabriella), British by birth and Nigerian by descent, is a writer, public speaker, trainer and coach who is incredibly passionate about transforming the lives of women and youth, not only in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, but all across the world. Eturuvie has been speaking to women and youth groups in churches and schools since 2004, and has led her own powerful seminar series entitled "Preparing to Cleave with Gabriella". As a writer, she has transcribed her seminar teachings into articles, and in 2006, her article "Preparing to Cleave" was published incrementally on the Christian page of the Vanguard Newspaper in Nigeria over a 6-month period. Since 2004, her articles have also been published in various newsletters and magazines, as well as online at FaithWriters.Com. She is also the published author of thirteen eBooks, some of which include, "The Making of a Leader", "Me, My Husband and My In-Laws", "Giants Give Birth to Giants: The Impact of a Mentor", "Leadership Lessons from the Life of Jesus", "Leadership Lessons from the Life of Moses", and "Leadership Lessons from the Life of David". Eturuvie is a "comeback kid", and has recently broken free (now stronger and better) of a cycle of domestic violence, deceit, betrayal, and finally, divorce. As a result of her personal experience, she is all the more determined to add value to the lives of her fellow women by helping them realise and maximise their potential and to fulfil their destinies - hence her new initiative, "DOZ Network". In February 2014, Eturuvie took her passion for speaking, training, and coaching to a new level by becoming an Independent Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach with the John Maxwell Team. Since joining the John Maxwell Team, Eturuvie has established "Leadership Lessons Daily" webinars, seminars and workshops with the intention of training and coaching various kinds of people to help them develop leadership skills and maximize their true potential. Eturuvie also seeks to bring "Leadership Lessons Daily" seminars and workshops to organisations throughout Africa and around the world. She writes and publishes DOZ Chronicles.
