Product Description

by Joe Gill (Author), Steve Ditko (Illustrator), Rodney Schroeter (Designed by)

"Ghostly Tales" is the 1975 edition of Famous Comics' popular series, "Ditko at Charlton." It collects all of Steve Ditko's work from this publisher for 1975. Nearly all of those stories were for Charlton's extensive line of ghost comics: Beyond the Grave, Creepy Things, Ghostly Haunts, Ghostly Tales, Haunted, The Many Ghosts of Dr. Graves, Midnight Tales, Monster Hunters, Scary Tales, and[Visit] Ghost Manor. The exceptions are a recovered Captain Atom story originally done in the 1960s, inked by John Byrne; and a short SF story, both of which saw first publication in 1975 in Charlton Bullseye. Scripting is (with a few exceptions) by Joe Gill, one of the comics' most prolific writers.
