Author Biography

Susie Johns studied fine arts at the Slade School of Fine Art in London before working as a magazine and partworks editor for 11 years, specializing in cooking and crafts. She has since written and illustrated books on a variety of creative subjects, including knitting, crochet, embroidery, and paper crafts, and has had features and interviews published in a wide range of magazines. As a crochet designer, Susie's creative skills are in great demand, not only for making garments and accessories, but also for creating novelty crochet items such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, animals, birds, dolls, mascots, and puppets.
