Author Biography

Robert James provided scientific and engineering support to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, with emphasis on radar tracking, guidance systems and geodetics. He designed and implemented the Radar Data Processing and Enhancement System (RADATS) in support of all NASA Space Shuttle mission landings. Mr. James patented the Advanced Digital Flight Director system for terminal guidance. In addition to writing and publishing books and technical manuscripts, he authored or co-authored several publications including:
