Author Biography
John Zaepfel has a varied and successful business career as a CEO, board chairman and CEO coach. He has served on fifty-two public and private company boards and currently serves on several boards as the non-executive chairman.
He is a past member of the Young Presidents Organization and is a group chairman and speaker with Vistage International.
John has an MBA degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
William Hawfield is a professional manager, CEO and business owner who has served on thirty-five boards, both advisory and fiduciary, either as a member or chairman.
He is a faculty member for the National Association of Corporate Directors, Family Business programs and has spoken at the NACD national conference workshops. He is also a highly rated speaker for Vistage International and is a long time member.
Bill has a MBA degree from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
The authors have used professional advisory boards to build businesses with sustainable value in over 80 companies with combined revenues of more than $5 billion. Several of these businesses sold and collectively, the owners received over $1.1 Billion.
