Author Biography

Dr. Chen Shuoxuan of the National University of Ryukyu, Japan, is an associate researcher currently under employment at the Fujian-Taiwan Regional Research Center of Fujian Normal University, director of the Sino-Ryukyu Relations Research Association in Japan, and visiting researcher at the South Island Cultural Institute of Okinawa International University, Japan. His main research is on the history of Sino-Ryukyu relations and Sino-Japanese relations. He has published a book and over 20 papers in Chinese and Japanese academic journals. Mr. Xie Bizhen, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Fujian Normal University, Director of the Fujian-Taiwan Regional Research Center of Fujian Normal University, a key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. His main research focuses on Chinese overseas transportation and trade history, the history of Sino-Japanese relations, and the local history of Fujian.
