A book of twenty-five paintings created by elephants with an introduction, poems and short story by American artist Galen Garwood. 'From the Eye of the Elephant' is dedicated to Richard Lair for his many years of helping us understand our relationship to elephants, who share a remarkably similar familial blueprint to humans. The book celebrates the 25th year since Galen moved to Northern Thailand to make a film about the plight of the Asian elephant. 'From the Eye of the Elephant' will help support Cultural Crossroads Asia, a non-profit entity founded to help preserve and nourish indigenous cultures.
