This book in a small way chronicles my life, growth and development achieving a measure of success. This book is not a "How To" book. It is about my life and developmental experiences. After learning of my life history you find a nugget which will enhance your development and growth, that would be wonderful. This project was taken on in response to suggestions and requests by several people who have come to know me over the years. Every one's life is unique. How one achieves certain goals is of particular interest with others seeking to maximize their chances of similar success. Also, quite often family members and particularly non-military persons would ask, "What or how I dealt with the challenges I faced". On one occasion one of my sons who had served in the military commented that he didn't know that I had been involved in a certain project.
