by Cynthia Ward (Author), Bob Ward (Author)

Bob Ward, executive recruiter and "Your Friendly Headhunter," has condensed 25 years of recruiting, coaching, and interviewing experience into a comprehensive interview guide for job seekers. Ward's real-life tales from the interview front can be amusing, amazing, or downright uncomfortable. But From Interview Disaster To Interview Master is not just an entertaining storybook. It is full of useful content regarding how interviews proceed and how candidates can increase their chances of success in each step of the process. The book encompasses all aspects of interviewing from getting invited to the interview to offer acceptance protocol. Topics include: ---Resume writing ---Phone interviews ---What to (and not to) wear ---What to (and not to) say ---Common interview formats ---Tough interview questions and answers ---Challenging interview situations (you vs. ribs) ---Bad interview acts ---Post-Interview "stalking" ---Negotiating bucks and benefits ---70 Interview Quick Tips ---AND MORE. Part teacher, part motivator, part storyteller, Bob Ward lays it all out in a practical, conversational style. From Interview Disaster To Interview Master can help you master the skills necessary to survive an interview and secure a paycheck.
