Author Biography
Alisha Thorpe is a counselor, nurse, and ordained Evangelist who is passionate about sharing the Word of God and healing lives through the power of her testimony. She uses her incredible life experiences to draw people everywhere closer to God and to uplift, encourage, and edify. The daughter of Pentecostal parents, she was called by God at an early age to minister to His people. She is the co-founder of Faith Walk Ministry, a church without walls that caters to the homeless and the lost. She is also the founder of Faith, Family, and Friends, a Christian women's support organization, and she is the manager of Ministry Teen, a praise dance team. She has mentored countless women, and together with her late husband, Elder Howard Tyrone Thorpe, has counseled and supported a plethora of married couples. Evangelist Thorpe resides in Belleville, IL, where she continues to be active in her local ministry, Love Church, and in Nursing Home & Outreach ministries. From Grief to Goodness is her first publication.
