Fountains – A Serene Strategy Game of Flow and Form
Step into the tranquil city of Florimelle and become a master Fountaineer in Fountains, a light strategy tile-laying game where beauty and balance are key. Designed for 1–5 players ages 10 and up, this 30–45 minute experience invites you to build a multi-tiered fountain filled with lilypads, flowing pools, and vibrant koi fish.
Each turn, players move one of three colored tokens—green, blue, or white—around the central board to claim tiles or features. Strategically place these elements to expand your fountain outward and upward, ensuring water flows from the top spout through every level. Dead zones won’t score, so thoughtful placement is essential.
Scoring is triggered when players land on matching colored spaces, rewarding lilypads, linked pools, and fish based on their elevation. Fish come in three types, and the scoring player chooses which color earns points. As players reach point thresholds, bonus scoring activates, including coin icons and complete fish sets.
